Cancellation Policy
Any Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meaning assigned to them under the Terms of Use which govern your use of our website bazaar.easeyourlife.in (the “Website”) and our ‘EYL Bazaar’ webhook on the Ease Your Life application for mobile and handheld devices (the “App”). The Website and the App are jointly referred to as the “Platform”.
Customer Cancellation
As a general rule Buyer shall not be entitled to cancel the Order once placed. If Buyer cancels his/her Order by getting in touch with our customer support, EYL Bazaar shall have a right to collect a penalty of 100% of the Order amount for breach of contract terms as compensation for the damages suffered by EYL Bazaar, with a right to not to refund the Order value.
Non-Customer Cancellation
EYL Bazaar reserves the right to collect a penalty for the Orders constrained to be canceled by EYL Bazaar for reasons not attributable to EYL Bazaar, including but not limited to:
- in the event, that the address provided by Buyer is either wrong or falls outside the delivery zone;
- failure to contact the Buyer by phone or email at the time of delivering the Order booking;
- failure to deliver Buyer Order due to lack of information, direction, or authorization from Buyer at the time of delivery; or
- unavailability of all the items ordered by Buyer at the time of booking the Order; However, in the unlikely event of an item in an Order being unavailable, EYL Bazaar will contact the Buyer on the phone number provided to us at the time of placing the Order and inform Buyer of such unavailability. In such an event Buyer will be entitled to cancel the entire Order and shall be entitled to a refund to an amount up to 100% of the Order value.
In case of cancellations for the reasons attributable to EYL Bazaar or the Merchant, EYL Bazaar shall not collect any penalty from the Buyer.
The Orders placed by Buyers using the Platform are non-cancellable and non-refundable except if the refund is requested under the following conditions –
- If the Order could not be delivered within the estimated time while placing the order;
- If the Order has not been delivered.
- If the Merchant doesn't accept or cancel the Order due to reasons not attributable to the Buyer, including but not limited to the merchant being unavailable, non-availability of items, the merchant cannot service online orders at that moment, etc.
- If EYL Bazaar cancels the Order due to reasons not attributable to Buyer, including but not limited to non-availability of delivery service, etc.
EYL Bazaar reserves the right to look into the cancellation request of the Buyer and determine if such cancellation request falls under the conditions mentioned above. If EYL Bazaar is satisfied that the request fulfills any of the aforesaid conditions, then EYL Bazaar shall process the cancellation request and refund amounts to the Buyer.
Return Policy
- The Orders placed by Buyers using the Platform are non-returnable and non-refundable except if the refund is requested under the following conditions -
1.1. No returns will be accepted unless the product is damaged or defective (defined hereinbelow).
a. Damaged means any packed product having quality issues leading to deleterious or destructive effects due to physical or chemical damage, or from any other circumstances, and which renders the product unfit for consumption and/or use.
- Defective product is a product that causes injury to a person due to either a design defect including packaging, a manufacturing defect, or a marketing defect.
1.2 You understand and agree that certain food products may require specific storage conditions and certain instructions may be required to follow as mentioned on the Packaging of the product. You are required to adhere to the same so as to enjoy the product in its best form and prevent spoilage, and contamination of the product which may render it unfit for consumption or its intended usage. Products stored or used in conflict with such conditions and instructions shall be not eligible for Returns / Refunds.
1.3. DENTS / SCRATCHES: We take care and exercise due caution to deliver your product(s) in the best possible manner, however, there may be times that you may receive the product(s) with minor dents or scratches including slight indentations or creasing in a shipping carton. As a general consensus, it is safe to buy and use food from dented packaging; it does, however, depend on the condition the packaging is in and the food contained inside. Please note, that minor scratches and/or dents do not affect the quality of the product(s) or its intended use and thus, is safe and fit for use and consumption. However, we suggest you inspect each of the product(s) and packaging inside for damage as well. In case of a major dent or any leakage or if you notice any opening or pinhole, then we suggest not to use the product(s) and get in touch with our customer support without delay.
1.4. SHELF LIFE: Our Website and the product(s) itself, clearly reflect the Best Before / Expiry date (“Shelf Life”) of each product, which indicates and means that the product is fit and safe for use and/or consumption by the date indicated on the Website and also on the Product received by you. We shall never have any product(s) on our Website which is not safe/unfit for consumption. However, when you as a Consumer make a purchase of any product(s), it is agreed and understood that you have made your fair due diligence with regards to the Shelf Life / Best Before / Expiry date of the product(s) as stated on the Website and thus placed your order depending upon your usage.
- In an effort to curb frivolous, invalid, and false claims of rejecting and returning the product(s) which are well within the stipulated Shelf Life and also fit and safe for consumption, NO CLAIMS FOR ANY RETURN OF PRODUCT(S) WHICH ARE WELL WITHIN THE STIPULATED TIME FRAME OF THEIR SHELF LIFE AS REFLECTING ON THE BEST BEFORE / EXPIRY OF THE PRODUCT(S) SHALL BE ENTERTAINED.
- There may also be times when you may receive a product wherein the Best Before / Expiry date on the Website may be different than that reflecting on the Best Before / Expiry date mentioned on the product(s) (this could purely be due to logistical/technical / system updates), in this case, if the product is well within its Shelf Life i.e., within its Best Before / Expiry date it shall not be eligible for Return on issues of Shelf Life not being sufficient or enough unless the Shelf Life is less than 20% at the time of receipt of the product by you which would be taken into account by us, evaluated at our end by the concerned team and fulfilling the eligibility criteria processed for return or refund as the case may be.
1.5. EYL Bazaar takes stringent measures to ensure that the products delivered to you are in perfect condition. However, there is a remote possibility that the product may get damaged during transit or an incorrect product is delivered to you. In such a case, you may immediately contact our customer support team and return a product brought from us in case of damage or defect within three (3) days of delivery for non-perishable products and within 24 hours of delivery for perishable products.
1.6 Important information
1.6.1. If our products arrived damaged, rotten, or contaminated in any way, please contact us right away, and we will be happy to send a free replacement. This replacement for the damaged, rotten or contaminated products shall always be subject to our rights to recall the products to send it for further analysis and testing. If anything is unclear or you have more questions feel free to contact our customer support.
1.6.2 At the time of return, preferably, at least 75 % of the weight or volume of the actual product must be returned.
1.6.3 The refund or return shall be subject to inspection and in case it is not approved, then no refund shall be initiated.
1.6.4 The Product must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
1.6.5. Please note that items purchased at bazaar.easeyourlife.in cannot be returned to the merchant directly for exchange or refund.
EYL Bazaar reserves the right to look into the return request of the Buyer and determine if such a return request falls under the conditions mentioned above. If EYL Bazaar is satisfied that the request fulfills any of the aforesaid conditions, then EYL Bazaar shall process the return request and refund amounts to the Buyer.
Refund Policy
EYL Bazaar retains the right to retain the penalty payable by the Buyer in from the amount refundable to him/her. The Buyer shall also be entitled to a refund of proportionate value in the event packaging of an item in an Order or the complete Order, is either tampered or damaged and the Buyer refuses to accept at the time of delivery for the said reason;
Buyer may be entitled to a refund up to 100% of the Order value if EYL Bazaar fails to deliver the Order due to a cause attributable to either Merchant or EYL Bazaar, however such refunds will be assessed on a case to case basis by EYL Bazaar.
Our decision on refunds shall be final and binding.
All refund amounts shall be credited to Buyer’s account as may be stipulated as per the payment mechanism of Buyer’s choice, the estimated timelines are detailed as below,
